Coordinate and maintain the PTOI computer network servers. Must remain ahead of the field in server technology and be proficient in various office productivity software suites, electronic mail, electronic scheduling, desktop publishing, backups, and financial/budgetary programs. Update program communication and/or computer software. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Support all aspects of a complex VMware/Windows server environment, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of VMware, VXRail, Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365, and MS-SQL. Evaluate and install software packages for distribution into the enterprise. Provide application solutions across the network. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and solutions provided. Develop and write computer security department policies and procedures. Provide on-site IT training for Tribe departments/entities. Create one-on-one tutoring/mentorship for staff needing training in word processing or spreadsheet applications. Oversee and manage problem identification and resolution for the department. Develop, propose and implement solutions for system failures, expansion and replacement. Implement latest security protocols, provide necessary access levels for users. Advise department director on data security, data access, and risk of data loss. Experience with MFA, server firewalls, and antivirus solutions. Review employee violations of computer security procedures and report to department managers or address with employees to prevent recurrence. Manage user database security. Assist in distributed data interactions over the Web. Plan and implement data replication for in-house to external databases. Prevent data loss through backups, replication and managing transaction logs. Experience with on-premise and cloud-based backups. Collaborate with Tribe departments/entities to evaluate communication systems for objectives such as reliability, resource sharing, and cost reduction. Assist in budget preparation for the Technologies cost center. Track expenditures and manage costs within budget. Stay current on technological advances in the field and participate in meetings, seminars and training as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Responsibilities
May involve lifting, moving and installation of equipment. May require cleaning duties around computer equipment; dust control to protect equipment. Provide technical assistance at other sites as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications And Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a related field; or four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licenses or Certificates
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer preferred. Valid state drivers license required. Physical Demands
Operate a personal computer, multi-line telephone, calculator, facsimile and photocopier. Read, write, communicate, and interpret information in English. Concentrate and produce accurate work. Typically sit, use hands to type, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally stand and walk; may bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
Low to moderate noise level. Low to moderate physical exertion. Office setting with frequent contacts during the day. Position may be stressful due to sensitive or confidential issues.
