External Manufacturing & Supply Program Manager

External Manufacturing & Supply (EM&S) part of Manufacturing & Supply (M&S) is leading the Sanofi Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) network and is committed to engage and manage external partners delivering exceptional manufacturing solutions in accordance with Sanofi's Manufacturing Strategy. The External Manufacturing & Supply team operates as a global virtual site and is built around a global cross functional matrix team of direct and indirect reports and business partners related to EM&S. The EM&S portfolio covers a variety of products from small molecule to large molecule, from new product pipeline with product launch, to mature products, etc. in the manufacturing network of Sanofi. The product portfolio includes Specialty Care, General Medicine, and Vaccines. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating multiple programs across EM&S. Their responsibilities include developing comprehensive program plans, prioritizing resources, ensuring delivery of scope, and engaging with senior stakeholders. They also focus on risk management, change management, and directing project teams to achieve strategic goals. The role is a global role, coordinating programs across the EM&S global organization, and reporting status to EM&S senior leadership, M&S senior portfolio management, and Initiative Program Leadership, as requested. Main responsibilities: Lead program strategy and execution, including timeline management, resource allocation, and milestone tracking across multiple initiatives Drive stakeholder engagement with EM&S leadership, M&S Transformation Office, and external partners through effective communication and reporting Manage resource optimization and coordination across programs, ensuring skilled personnel availability Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including contingency planning and risk monitoring Execute change management initiatives, leveraging change networks and comprehensive communication plans Mentor project teams and leaders, fostering high performance and collaboration Monitor and report program progress, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and portfolio strategy Provide strategic guidance and performance feedback to ensure project success and team development About you: Bachelor's degree required with minimum 5 years project management experience Strong knowledge of PMI methodologies (traditional and agile) with PMP certification preferred Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and reporting platforms (PowerBI, PowerApps) Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across global, diverse teams Proven track record managing complex, simultaneous programs with meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities Excellent leadership capabilities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and aligning objectives across Manufacturing & Supply stakeholders Language(s): Fluent in English (both verbal and written); Proficiency in another language is highly desirable.
