Software Engineer With Active Secret Clearance
Rate Range: $64/hr - $79/hr W2 depends on experience and benefits chosen Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance Duration: 12+ month contract or contract to hire Location: Aurora, CO 80011 ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US Citizenship Is Required*** Our client provides end-to-end space solutions - from ground control systems to on-orbit sensors - to keep our customers informed and ahead of the threat. Each day, ground stations receive vast amounts of data from satellites in orbit. Using complex algorithms, they process all the bits and bytes received and turn them into useable information for the end users who consume this data. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt. In this role you will work onsite with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software in Java and working the development pipeline. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java based backend applications for satellite ground systems in both Windows and Linux in the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Use up-to-date tools CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory. Gradle, Maven. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions. Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles. Participate in integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors. What You Will Learn

Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of (4) years of prior engineering experience. Experience developing software using Java Experience configuring builds using Gradle/Maven Experience creating CI/CD jobs and configuring pipelines Experience using Artifactory Experience in the Command and Control Domain Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
