The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential duties, responsibilities and requirements: Leadership and Management
Directly supervise the activities of 2 or more full-time employees (e.g., Assistant Manager, Lead Representative, Customer Service Representative). Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service. Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, organized and well-kept per Company standards. Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors. Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain store image. Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, mentoring, motivating and separating employees. Store Relationships
Develop positive and professional relationships with suppliers. Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner. Provide regular and predictable on-site attendance. Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community. Training And Development
Prepare ongoing and timely performance appraisals in Workday, including 30-, 60-, 90-day, 12-month, and anniversary check-ins. Train all employees to ensure customer service, store image and marketing execution meet Company standards. Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Mentor and train employees on cash handling and expectations to reduce risk to the company/BU. Ensure employees complete all required training in a timely manner. Communications
Develop methods to ensure timely communication with all employees. Establish periodic ongoing communication meetings with all store employees and the Market Manager. Organizing And Planning
Evaluate and develop action plans to address store needs and achieve objectives. Organize and maintain all store files and manuals. Manage and supervise store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately and timely. Manage and supervise merchandise stocking, display, and pricing. Ensure employment posters and signage are accessible to all employees. Financial
Analyze daily sales and expenses and take action to maximize sales and net profits. Budget and forecast P&L lines; manage merchandise margins. Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed. Perform financial analyses to maximize sales and profits. Notify Market Manager of any sales, cash, inventory or operating discrepancies. Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience preferred. Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment listed in CSR/LSR/SA job descriptions. Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/LSR/SA job descriptions. Ability to use computer and analyze reports, inventory, cash control, and employment forms. Valid drivers license and dependable transportation. Open availability. Ability to communicate in English (oral and written). Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described above. Ability to operate a motor vehicle, sit for long periods, and work in required conditions. Certificates & Licenses: Food Server certificate (e.g., ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required. Physical Requirements
The physical demands are representative of those needed to perform the essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Physical activity includes: Work a minimum of 50 hours per week. Exposure to temperature extremes in walk-in coolers/freezers and outdoors. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead and up to 50 pounds from ground to waist. Constant hand use, hand-eye coordination, and overhead reaching. Push/pull up to 20 pounds; climb ladders as needed. Stationary or mobile work; standing and walking for entire shifts. Work Environment
