Brown and Caldwell is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our growing New England Municipal Services team. This full-time position will contribute to project delivery and client service teams in winning and executing planning, evaluation, design, permitting and providing construction support services for Drinking Water, Wastewater and/or Water Resources projects. Example projects include studies, design and construction of wastewater treatment plants, drinking water plants designs, biosolids and residuals processing and disposal, pumping stations, pipeline, stormwater management, MS4 Compliance and integrated water resources projects for municipal clients. We are looking for a Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineer with a PE license who will partner with leaders in our Northeast Area to advance our growth strategy while providing project oversight and engineering mentorship as it pertains to water, wastewater, stormwater conveyance or related water engineering work. Candidates must live in New England but may work remotely. Travel is required (~25% of the time) to client sites within the New England region. Responsibilities

Project team leadership expectations:

Set direction Define objectives, decision-making processes, schedules, budgets and success factors. Communicate Establish effective communication methods for team standups, technical/design decisions, and client interactions. Support Team Motivation, Establish Trust, Create a safe environment, Embrace diversity, Develop team members.

Execution of project delivery requirements:

Scope: prepare detailed scopes of work with clear assumptions and limitations; set realistic expectations and a solid pathway to delivering quality work. Schedule: develop and maintain project schedules; allocate resources and implement mitigation measures. Budget: develop work breakdown structures and budgets aligned with scope and schedule. Quality Management, Change Management, Risk Management: define plans, monitor, and manage risks and changes to minimize risk.

Delivery of project and business performance metrics; monitor profitability, earned value, invoicing. Client service and sales/marketing support and engagement; build relationships and assess client satisfaction. Required Qualifications

BS degree in Civil, Environmental, related Engineering or Science field. 4-8 years of experience in Project Management with water-related engineering projects (planning, evaluating, designing, permitting or construction support). Competency in development and monitoring of simple project schedules and budgets. Strong project management and leadership skills; proficient in MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook; proficient in MS Project; able to travel regionally in New England (~25%). Preferred Qualifications

MS and/or MBA in Civil, Environmental, related Engineering or Science field. PE or equivalent licensing or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months. PMP certification from PMI. Supervisory or mentoring experience. Salary and Benefits

The anticipated starting pay ranges are location-based and may vary by skills, experience, and education.
