Tyto Athene is searching for a
Technical Project Manager
with exceptional customer engagement skills and a solid technical foundation in cloud solutions, networking, and modeling/simulation environments, along with familiarity in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). This role will lead cross-functional teams, oversee service desk operations, and ensure seamless project delivery from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable translating complex technical requirements for clients and guiding technical teams toward successful outcomes. Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between customer, stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment of goals, schedules and expectations. Manage technical cost, schedule and service delivery projects across cloud, networking, cybersecurity and modeling environments, with awareness of MBSE practices. Oversee service desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of support requests and high customer satisfaction. Coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables while monitoring risks and dependencies. Provide both strategic direction and hands-on technical insight to project teams.
Required
Minimum of 10 years experience with managing, securing and administrating DoD classified networks. Familiarity with DoD contracting, IT lifecycle management, or government project process. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (Masters preferred). DoD 8570.01-M compliant certification at
IAT Level III
(e.g., CASP+, CISSP). Proven experience managing technical projects in cloud and networking domains. Familiarity with MBSE tools and processes. Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud infrastructure and workspaces. Experience with service desk management and IT support processes. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver clear documentation and presentations.
