Software Engineer (DevOps) - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $235,000.00/yr Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, SAFe Agilest Certification, or experience as a member of an Agile team. Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position. Responsibilities Manage DevOps activities within a federal contract context. Work with CI/CD frameworks and tools for development, deployment, and integrated testing. Provide system administration across Windows and Linux environments. Collaborate with development teams; implement sound software development principles and practices. Operate in a virtualized environment and manage container-based platforms for application deployment. Participate in quarterly PI Planning sessions as needed.
Required qualifications
Must be a US Citizen Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph (FS) At least five (5) years of direct/relevant experience Bachelors degree in engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or related discipline from an accredited college or university Five (5) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree Solid understanding of DevOps Experience managing tools for development, deployment, and integrated test Experience with CI/CD frameworks System Administration experience (primarily Windows, plus Linux) Experience with Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Bash scripting, JavaScript, AngularJS Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, WebStorm Experience with software source control and configuration management tools Experience working in a virtualized environment (managing VMs) Experience with container-based platforms for automated deployment of applications Independent thinker, able to work both independently and in a team in a fast-moving environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willing to travel short durations to support quarterly PI Planning sessions in MD, if not located at the MD location

Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server Experience with Web UI development, Spring Framework, AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT Experience with Scrum or SAFe methodologies and related certifications Ability to plan and prioritize tasks that support sprint goals
