Project Manager, Multifamily Construction role at ARCO/Murray. ARCO/Murray is currently looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with multifamily, senior living, or hospitality building experience who is passionate about the construction process to join our team in our Miami area office. This role focuses on project performance and profit from day one, with opportunities across entertainment, multi-family, tenant improvement, and distribution/warehouses. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of the project from preconstruction through project closeout. Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget. Participate in proposal meetings with clients to review scope, discuss cost reduction options, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts and fees. Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors. Identify and assess opportunities to procure materials or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to budget or schedule. Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes, project schedule, and site logistics plan. Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve constructability, sequencing, or manpower issues. Organize and manage multiple activities to achieve desired results and track project performance against budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports. Maintain focus on delivering a constructive, safe, and enjoyable construction process for clients, subcontractors, and vendors without compromising on quality or safety. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field. 25 years of construction management or engineering design experience. Experience leading ground-up commercial, light industrial, multifamily, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects is preferred. Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
