Overview
Job Title: Microsoft AI Chatbot Developer Location: Raleigh, NC - Hybrid Description: We are seeking a Microsoft AI Chatbot Developer to design and build intelligent conversational agents using Copilot Studio and the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Azure. The candidate will need to come on-site on the first day to collect equipment. Local candidates to the Triangle region of North Carolina are preferred. This role may require up to 3 days per week at a Triangle-area office for in-person responsibilities, including meetings. Employer: NCDIT-T Web Systems (in partnership with Sage Group via Dice). Responsibilities Design and build intelligent conversational agents using Copilot Studio and the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Azure. Build chatbots that integrate Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 services, and external systems to enhance productivity for NCDOT users and customers. Configure complex dialog flows with branching logic and handle integration with external APIs, databases, and third-party services through Power Automate and custom connectors. Apply knowledge of Azure AI services and Power Platform governance, security best practices, and deployment strategies across development and production environments. Work within Power Platform environments and Azure DevOps; this is not a Power Platform administration role, but involves deploying solutions.
Qualifications
Hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development including deploying to solutions with environments. Experience with Copilot Studio for creating chat-driven interfaces. Microsoft Power Automate for creating workflows across M365 and integrating with other systems. Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 experience. Experience building agents within and outside of SharePoint and integrating chatbots with external services. Azure AI capabilities knowledge and experience with non-Microsoft LLM platforms (e.g., Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex integrations. Preferred: Microsoft certifications including PL-900, AI-900, AI-102, MS-900.
