Territory Manager

role at Flow Control Group / Pioneer Industrial Corporation. This position is responsible for overseeing sales and service operations within a designated geographic area, developing and executing strategic sales plans, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality industrial products and services. Note: The role may include basic mechanical service work in industrial environments, such as installing mechanical seals and packing, as needed to support customers. Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base through prospecting and cold calling. Present and promote the companys product offeringsincluding fluid sealing products, control and isolation valves, actuation solutions, rotating equipment, and environmental and safety instrumentationto prospective and existing customers.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular visits and communication. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Address and resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Service Coordination:

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services. Oversee the execution of service contracts, including valve repairs, seal replacements, and equipment maintenance. Monitor service quality and implement improvements as necessary.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management. Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the companys brand and offerings.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required, or equivalent experience with a strong track record.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales and service, preferably within valve, fluid sealing, or rotating equipment sectors. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.

Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of industrial products and services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
