Overview

We are currently looking for three skilled RDK Software Engineers to support one of our key clients in the telecom industry. Based in Dallas, this role involves working on innovative gateway and router solutions designed for the North American market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring advanced connectivity products to life. Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr This range is provided by TMC USA Employeneurship. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities

Partner with Product Management and customers to define features and technical requirements tailored to North America. Develop and integrate new functionalities into the RDK-B stack for broadband devices. Maintain high code quality through unit testing, peer code reviews, and continuous improvement practices. Analyze and resolve technical issues reported by end-users or discovered during testing and field deployment. Actively contribute to design discussions and help evolve the product architecture. Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. 5 years of hands-on experience in RDK-B development for routers or gateways. Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux environments. Solid background in working with build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenWRT. Good command of key networking protocols, including: ARP, IPv4/IPv6, ICMP, TCP/UDP, GRE, DNS, DHCP, IGMP. TR-069/CWMP, USP, SNMP. Familiarity with access and LAN technologies: DOCSIS, 5G/LTE, EPON/GPON, Wi-Fi, Ethernet. Strong debugging and system analysis skills (RDK logs, gdb, valgrind, Wireshark, etc.). Experience with development tools: Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills
