We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support enterprise-level data architecture and pipeline development in a hybrid environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cloud-native ecosystems and enjoys building scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust data pipelines for batch and real-time processing Develop ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Apache Spark Architect and optimize data lakes and warehouses (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Redshift) Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across all environments Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions Monitor and troubleshoot data flows, performance bottlenecks, and security issues Document architecture, workflows, and operational procedures Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering Strong proficiency with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Databricks Expertise in Python, SQL, and Spark for data transformation Experience with cloud security principles (Active Directory, encryption, network policies) Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git, Azure DevOps) Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning
