Nightforce Optics . Location: Orofino, ID. Nightforce Optics is a leading manufacturer and marketer of premium sport optics products, known for rugged, high-quality, high-performance products. What Youll Be Doing: Essential Job Duties
Employee Relations: Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns; support the HR Manager in addressing employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation; assist in conducting investigations and documenting findings under the guidance of the HR Manager; help maintain accurate and confidential employee records and case files; provide guidance to managers on routine employee relations issues and escalate complex matters as needed. Benefits and Leave Administration: Support benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in coordination with the HR Manager; assist employees with general benefits questions and escalate complex issues as needed; coordinate leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves; maintain accurate leave records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping data and employee changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, pay rate changes); coordinate with the HR Manager to ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions; respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner; help maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws; support audits and reporting related to payroll and compensation. Recruiting and Onboarding: Assist in full-cycle recruitment including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates; coordinate interview logistics and support hiring managers throughout the selection process; conduct background checks and reference checks and assist with offer letters and onboarding documentation; facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience; maintain applicant tracking system and recruitment metrics. Training and Development: Help manage the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading content and assigning training; coordinate logistics for training sessions and track participation; assist in developing training materials and evaluating training effectiveness; support department managers in identifying training needs and solutions; collect feedback and help assess the impact of training programs on employee performance and engagement. General HR Support: Help maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate reports as needed; participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with focus on business, human resources, organizational development, or related field 2+ years of demonstrable, professional-level human resources experience, with experience in three (3) or more of the following: payroll, benefits, recruitment, classification, employee relations, training and development, equal employment and affirmative action, reasonable accommodation, Fair Labor Standards Act Additional Details
