We are seeking an accomplished Backend API Developer with advanced expertise in Python, Java, and Node.js to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services and APIs, with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in API development, secure authorization via OAuth2, and cloud-native development principles on platforms like Azure or AWS. A solid understanding of backend services, including SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers, is essential. You will be part of a self-organized, collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python, Java, and Node.js, following industry best practices. Conduct unit and API testing, ensuring code quality and functionality before deployment. Implement secure authorization and authentication mechanisms, including OAuth2, to protect data access. Develop and integrate backend services with various systems and frameworks, handling complex data structures and RESTful API exchanges. Utilize cloud-native principles to deploy and manage backend services on cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS. Conduct security reviews, implementing encryption, TLS, and other security measures to protect application integrity. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications for maximum performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and security experts, to deliver customer-focused solutions. Stay up-to-date with advancements in backend development, security practices, and cloud technologies to continually enhance our services. Education, and Experience: Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent 6+ years of professional experience in the related fields including Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 4 -5 years of experience delivering enterprise grade cloud and SaaS application Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, and Node.js, with significant experience in backend API development. Advanced skills in designing and integrating REST APIs, handling complex data exchanges and integration patterns. Strong understanding and experience with OAuth2 for secure authorization and authentication. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud-native development principles for deployment and scaling. In-depth knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, TLS, and conducting thorough security reviews. Fluent in English (mandatory), with excellent communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing. Ability to work effectively in a self-organized, collaborative team environment. Preferred Skills

Knowledge of microservices architecture and modular service design. Strong understanding of backend services, including SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and message broker (e.g. RabbitMQ) Strong understanding of unit testing, API testing, and familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, JUnit, Pytest). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to streamline deployment and ensure quality. Why us?

Transform the Everyday with Us The salary range for this position is $105,100 to $189,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidates work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
