Provide a detailed review of all submittals, design documents, and proposed design changes from a regulatory compliance (National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Federal, State, and local permits) and environmental (air, noise, water, contaminated, hazardous materials, amongst others) standpoint. Review and input to design documents (drawings and specifications, including environmental studies, investigations, reports, surveys) with focus on conformance with the NEPA Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) Record of Decision (ROD) and Federal, State, and Local permits. Review RFQs and RFPs to ensure all permit and FEIS/ROD requirements are incorporated accurately. Provide input on the project schedule to incorporate timing restrictions, mitigation requirements, limitations, constraints, and compliance requirements from the permits and FEIS/ROD. Attend weekly meetings and workshops to provide status updates and answer regulatory compliance/environmental questions. Provide regulatory compliance review of federal, state, and local permits and guidance related to FEIS/ROD environmental compliance. Determine if there are permit/environmental impacts associated with work elements. Review plans to determine required Federal, State, and Local permits. Interpret scientific data and specifications and develop technical memoranda. Youll Need To Have

Bachelors degree in environmental science, geology, or a closely related discipline. Extensive prior experience with regulatory agencies including USACE, USFWS, NMFS, NJSHPO, NJSEA (HMDC), and NJDEP. Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to travel throughout the NY/NJ Metro Area. Valid drivers license. Experience securing USACE and NJDEP DLUR permits. Working knowledge of NEPA FEIS/ROD environmental documentation. Youll Also Have

Subject matter expertise across Environmental and Social Sustainability. Project and/or programme management. Business acumen. Stakeholder engagement: ability to engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels. Collaborator: ability to engage with multiple teams in a collaborative manner. Communication: ability to present technical topics in a simple way to a variety of audiences. The estimated starting salary for this position is $140,000 $180,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
