The Materials Planner is responsible for coordinating all material planning efforts between departments to meet customer expectations and company goals. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate information in MRP system, including item attributes, Bill of Materials, production routings, and customer and production schedules. Monitor MRP, shortage lists, and related indicators to determine 100% material availability and a high rate of inventory turn to ensure 100% on-time customer delivery; utilize audit reports and key performance metrics. Maintain master schedule or management of entry. Evaluate purchased part material requirements and plan supply. Release internal production work orders. Coordinate cross-functional activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production processes. Implement Engineering Change Notices. Replace materials timely due to non-conformance or scrap. Identify and communicate detailed status on any material planning items impacting the production schedule (e.g., part shortages). Identify opportunities for improvement within the materials group and lead improvement initiatives; achieve 100% material availability; increase inventory turnover; reduce transactions, variances, and work orders; improve standard MRP set-ups and physical material flow across multiple programs. Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Companys information and products. Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested. Qualifications
Education
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Supply Chain Management is preferred. A combination of related experience and education may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree. Experience

Effective communications skills, both verbally and written. Ability to identify and deliver results on time and on budget. Other

Compensation / Benefits
Salary Range Transparency:
$75,000 - $94,000 annually, depending on candidate qualifications. Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity. Benefits
