You’ll manage multiple high-visibility projects at once, serving as the vital link between our internal teams and external partners to ensure customer goals are met with precision and care. Responsibilities
Play a key role in the cross-functional team (Sales, Quoting, Coordination, Logistics) by providing project information/updates, confirmed deadlines and post shipment deliverable requirements while meeting/exceeding customer expectations.
Submit COD (Custom Order Development) to the primary contacts; work with engineering to ensure customer specifications and project timing are met.
Provide technical support to EORs, Customer Engineering, Contractors, and internal Hussmann teams.
Collaborate with multiple internal departments to solve and correct field issues.
Prepare technical submittal documents for customer projects.
Attend customer meetings, review project schedules, and coordinate equipment deliveries.
Assist Sales Principal with equipment sales and presentations for case replacements.
Set up new projects in the CRM system as needed.
Receive and review change orders and communicate to respective departments; follow up to ensure changes are implemented.
Work with SSS team, logistics partners, factories and customers to ensure delivery schedules are accurate and on track.
Proactively track deliveries using available tools to confirm updates from carriers are accurate.
Assist in field issue resolution by guiding FER/FQS teams and coordinating with factory for quick resolution.
Review quotes from the quoting team for accuracy before sharing with customers.
Assist with quote reviews with customers to ensure our quote aligns with customer expectations; make necessary revisions with quoters before processing orders internally.
Conduct regular job site visits to review equipment, provide walk-throughs with customers, meet with contractors, and strengthen Hussmann’s role as a partner and trusted advisor.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred in marketing, business, engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Demonstrated competencies in refrigeration design and application, and ability to identify and troubleshoot field issues preferred.
5 years of project coordination/technical experience in a related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Internet basics.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain an organized and repeatable sales and ordering process.
Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly with a sense of urgency.
Hussmann or refrigeration product experience a plus.
Up to 50% travel.
