Overview
Receiving and Inspection Lead
will be responsible for the 3D Print room and the unpacking, handling, and inventory management of 3D-printed sand cores used in the foundry process. Lead will unpack/unload printed cores, receive inventory, and process through the cleaning and baking stages before release to production. The role collaborates with engineering and technical teams to understand proper core handling requirements and may assist the supervisor with planning, communicating with third-party suppliers to manage core orders, tracking damages, and ensuring a smooth core flow to assembly. This role supports a smooth and reliable flow of 3D-printed sand cores into production and requires a mix of warehouse management skills and technical aptitude. Note:

Receiving & Inspection Ensure all printed cores from third-party suppliers are received correctly, inspected for damages, and reported for re-orders as necessary. Inventory Management Maintain an accurate inventory of cores, including system entries and real-time stock tracking for availability. Damage Control & Supplier Coordination Communicate damaged cores to supervisor, coordinate replacements, and adjust inventory records accordingly. Cleaning & Baking Process Oversight Ensure cores go through the required cleaning and baking processes before use in production. Production Release & Scheduling Coordinate the release of inventoried cores to production based on scheduling needs only. Collaboration with Engineering & Technical Teams Work with engineers to understand handling and storage requirements for 3D-printed cores. Data Entry & System Management Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, system updates, and reporting through spreadsheets and Oracle. 3D Printer Operation Learn to operate and manage the Voxel jet 3D printer to support production needs. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, handling procedures, and core flow efficiencies. What we have to offer

High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in a Receiving and Inventory Management position Advanced Experience with Excel and MS Office Suites Inventory Control & Management Tracking, receiving, and maintaining accurate inventory records Warehouse Operations Understanding proper storage, handling, and movement of materials in a manufacturing environment Data Entry & System Proficiency Ability to enter and manage data within an inventory management system Damage Reporting & Resolution Ability to inspect incoming goods, report damages, and coordinate replacements Technical Aptitude & Willingness to Learn Interest in learning about 3D-printed cores, handling requirements, and operating a 3D printer Collaboration & Communication Ability to work with engineering, planning, production teams, and external vendors Organization & Attention to Detail Keeping detailed records and ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking Process Improvement Mindset Identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is an industry-leading manufacturer of highly engineered components and sub-assemblies, supplying the commercial aerospace, military and industrial markets with small-to-large function critical products.
