Overview

Software Tech Lead (Active TS/SCI required) at Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector, Payload and Ground Systems Division. The Software Tech Lead will work closely under the Software Lead and help lead software development activities. The role requires experience with RF Signal Data Processing, multiple programming languages, CI/CD pipelines, Agile processes, and the Atlassian tool suite. The position is on-site in Linthicum, Maryland or Fairfax, Virginia and requires current DoD clearance and program access as required. Responsibilities

Lead software development activities under the Software Lead. Apply experience with RF Signal Data Processing to project work. Work with CI/CD pipelines, Agile processes, and the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). Contribute to on-site software engineering efforts supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit for a Ground program. Basic Qualifications

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application (US Citizenship required). Experience requirements vary by education level: 8 years with a Bachelor's degree 6 years with a Master's degree 4 years with a PhD 10 years with an associates degree 12 years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent required) Experience with RF Signal Data Processing. Experience with C/C++/Python/Java. Experience with DevSecOps in CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Agile programs and methodology. Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). Experience with GitLab. Preferred Qualifications

STEM degree preferred. Work Schedule

Most NG sites support a 9/80 work schedule (nine-hour days Monday-Thursday with every other Friday off) or other flexible options determined at hire. Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $131,100.00 - $206,000.00. Offers consider role scope, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible benefits include health, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays and PTO. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available depending on position.
