Human Resources Specialist Job at Nashville Public Radio in Kissimmee

Job Description

Assists with the overall Human Resources Departmental operations by providing support with project-oriented responsibilities and routine tasks such as data entry, audits, customer service, report writing, and research.

This is an entry-level position. Starting pay is between $15.95 - $19.95 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests for information, understanding policies and practices within HR functions (e.g., HRIS, Employee Relations, Compensation, Training & Development).
• Perform research for special projects as directed by the Human Resources Director, gathering relevant data and preparing summaries.
• Assist in ensuring data integrity of HR systems through compliance audits and report writing.
• Perform data maintenance and corrections in HR systems.
• Assist with maintenance and updates of HR training manuals and documentation.
• Develop timely and accurate ad-hoc reports.
• Assist in training property HR staff on HR processes and systems.
• Assist with records maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

• High school diploma required.
• One (1) year of HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Word and Excel skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality according to EEO guidelines.
