Base pay range

$30.13/hr - $34.25/hr

Role Description

Our Human Resources Department is available Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with typical scheduling of 40 hours. This position is responsible for assisting employees in all facets of their employment; payroll, time keeping, benefits, and performance development.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and handling sensitive information with a diverse workforce.
• Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking for HR and payroll challenges.
• Proficient in HRIS (specifically UKG) and payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and able to manage stressful situations.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of employment and payroll laws.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, discounts, percentages, and conversions between fractions and decimals.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
