LHH is hiring: Human Resources Generalist in Knoxville

Overview

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about employee engagement and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new employees
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
• Support employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution and investigations
• Administer employee benefits and coordinate open enrollment
• Maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy
• Assist in performance management and training initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
