About the Role
The Manager, HRBP, Lafayette, sits within the HR department as a mid-level HR partner who collaborates with their designated business unit/site. This role co-creates and executes a business unit/site People Strategy aligned with Primient's goals and the business unit by working with business leaders to develop actionable HR strategies, implement effective HR programs, and provide guidance on compensation, people development, training, and legal compliance. The role adds value by supporting business decisions during times of change and ensuring HR activities align with business needs and company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts and foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support business objectives and drive performance.
- Talent Management: Oversee onboarding, support career development initiatives, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition throughout recruitment processes.
- Change Management: Assist during organizational changes or restructuring by providing guidance and support to employees and leaders through transitions.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Create, update and ensure compliance with company policies and laws and regulations.
- Coaching and Consulting: Provide HR advice and guidance to department leaders, leveraging HR expertise to enhance leadership effectiveness.
- Drive HR Initiatives and Processes: Collaborate with HR colleagues to implement strategic HR initiatives and optimize HR processes to support organizational goals.
- Drive HR KPIs: Partner with respective teams to develop, monitor and achieve HR KPI metrics for those groups and develop mitigation plans when needed.
- Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: Promote inclusive hiring and culture, act as a culture ambassador to uphold Primient standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (required)
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent (preferred)
- Professional Certification(s) in HR, such as PHR, SPHR, or other HR certifications (preferred)
- 5+ years of work experience in a broad range of HR functional areas (required)
- 2+ years of experience in employee relations (preferred)
- 1+ years of Workday experience (preferred)
Total Rewards
The annual pay range estimated for this position is $106,440.00 - $133,050.00 and is bonus eligible. Note that compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss pay range fit.
