About the Role
We are seeking a
Mailroom Scanner Operator
to support high-volume document processing in a secure lockbox environment. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with strong growth potential. You will be responsible for handling incoming mail, operating scanning equipment, and ensuring documents are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and sort trays of incoming mail (up to 10 lbs. each). Operate the
OPEX mail extractor machine
to load and scan documents. Review scanned documents to ensure quality and accuracy. Follow established rulesets and procedures to process mail efficiently. Maintain steady production flow and meet/exceed daily standards. Ensure compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old with a
High School Diploma or GED . Ability to pass a
background check and drug screen . 1-2 years of experience
in a production or mailroom environment preferred. Familiarity with
OPEX mail extractor machines
a plus (training provided). 10-key experience
preferred. Must be able to
lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
