The Staff Pad has partnered with a global leader in property technology, to hire an IT Systems Specialist to support their growing internal IT operations at their Houston headquarters.
This role is ideal for a mid-level IT professional with a strong technical foundation and a passion for user support. You'll handle a mix of hands-on troubleshooting, system administration, and internal project support, helping ensure a smooth, secure IT environment across multiple office locations.

You'll handle a mix of hands-on troubleshooting, system administration, and internal project support, helping ensure a smooth, secure IT environment across multiple office locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and VoIP systems
- Maintain user accounts, system access, and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365
- Support internal systems including Windows Server, VMware, and basic network infrastructure
- Respond to service requests and document resolution steps using a ticketing system
- Assist with IT projects, equipment rollouts, and system upgrades
- Maintain hardware inventory and assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks
- Collaborate with vendors and escalate support issues as needed
- Write internal IT documentation and user guides
- Windows Server (2016+), Active Directory, Group Policy
- Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
- VMware ESXi, Hyper-V
- Cisco/Aruba network hardware, Fortinet firewalls
- Windows 11, remote desktop tools, Veeam Backup
- 5+ years of IT support or systems experience
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking issues
- Strong communication skills with a service-first attitude
- Experience supporting hybrid or multi-location teams a plus
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are a bonus
