Job Duties
Pick, fill, and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and transfers – including picking pipe and wire cutting
Load and unload materials and trucks
Safely utilize power equipment including mechanical lift or vehicles when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelves
Keep warehouse clean and organized including disposal of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
Maintain accurate inventory management and take inventory of materials shipped or received. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxes
Receive and process incoming stock and materials
Communicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Minimum Education Required High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Required 2+ years in a warehouse setting, working with power equipment, and pulling orders
1 year warehouse experience including working with an RF Scanner, a forklift, and wire cutting
1 Year working in a team environment
Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Ability to work safely and accurately
Ability to safely and effectively operate powered equipment such as forklift and stock chaser
Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skills
