HVAC Foreman – Job Description
Position Overview:
The HVAC Foreman will lead and coordinate HVAC maintenance operations for a mission-critical data center. This role ensures optimal performance of HVAC systems, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise HVAC technicians and oversee daily maintenance and repair tasks.
Schedule staff to meet operational and infrastructure needs.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
Perform and oversee:
HVAC system repairs and replacements
Refrigeration circuit maintenance
Motor and compressor replacements
Low voltage and HVAC troubleshooting
Heat exchanger cleaning
Pump and gearbox repairs
Plumbing repairs
System performance monitoring
Emergency response procedures
Maintain training standards for contractors (safety and technical).
Monitor chiller systems with N+1 redundancy.
Manage condenser water treatment to prevent corrosion and microbial growth.
Support airflow management in raised floor environments.
Apply refrigeration cycle principles and pressure/enthalpy dynamics.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
