Job Description

Actalent is currently seeking a Quality Technician in Mountainhome, PA. Qualified candidates will have experience with CMM programming, interpretation, and GD&T drawing. Please contact Jake at (610) 814-7180, or apply to this posting for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.

Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs using advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

Collaborate with the CMM Programming team to ensure product and process compliance.

Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by screening and documenting non-conformances.

Interpret complex engineering drawings and implement precise measurement systems.

Utilize a variety of mechanical inspection tools (microscopes, micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, etc.) to verify part quality.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing operations OR

High school diploma/GED and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application in inspection processes.

Experience in manufacturing or quality within an industrial environment.

CMM programming experience, preferably with Zeiss machines.

Aerospace industry experience and familiarity with aerospace quality standards.

Advanced knowledge of ASME Y14.5-1994 and ASME Y14.5-2018.

Excellent organizational and priority management skills.

Experience inspecting parts for conformance using mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
