Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their second-shift team. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining operational excellence by ensuring all production equipment runs safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on high-speed production machinery. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective maintenance tasks. Install, modify, and service electrical wiring, conduits, and control systems. Read and interpret mechanical schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical drawings. Perform fabrication, welding, plumbing, and other general facility maintenance as required. Strictly adhere to all OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and company safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with operations teams, management, and external vendors. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities and safety training completions. Requirements: Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field is highly preferred. Experiences Proven experience (3+ years) in industrial maintenance, preferably within manufacturing, packaging, or a related industry. Demonstrated hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical systems (e.g., pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, bearings) and electrical systems (e.g., 480V AC, motor controls, PLCs). Other Must be able to successfully train on a mid-shift schedule (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) before transitioning to the assigned second shift. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
