Overview
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Digital Performance Media is a strategic, results-driven, and execution-focused leader responsible for driving measurable business growth through digital media channels. This executive will oversee the development, execution, and optimization of performance-driven media strategies across search, social, display, programmatic, video, and emerging platforms. In addition to setting the strategic vision, the SVP will play an active role in implementing digital media best practices, ensuring that all initiatives are executed flawlessly and deliver exceptional ROI. They will lead a high-performing team while fostering strong relationships with clients, agencies, and vendors, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand, revenue, and customer acquisition goals.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the organization’s digital performance, media vision, strategy, and roadmap with a focus on automotive industry dynamics. Partner with C-suite leadership to integrate media strategies with overall marketing and business objectives.
Communicate strategy and best practices effectively to executives, ensuring alignment and understanding at the highest levels.
Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, technologies, and platforms to maintain a competitive advantage.
Performance Media Management
Oversee planning, buying, and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple channels (SEM, paid social, display, programmatic, affiliate, etc.).
Ensure campaigns are data-driven, KPI-focused, and continuously optimized for performance and efficiency.
Implement robust testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate) to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Ensure the application of digital media best practices in campaign execution to achieve successful implementation and increased ROI.
Analytics & Measurement
Establish measurement frameworks, attribution models, and performance dashboards to track ROI.
Partner with analytics teams to interpret data, uncover insights, and make recommendations for optimization.
Maintain accountability for media budgets, forecasting, and pacing for our clients and agency partners.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing digital media team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Recruit and retain top talent in performance marketing, analytics, and media buying.
Drive cross-functional collaboration between creative, analytics, and product teams.
Initiate and lead departmental strategies to enhance client performance, drive process improvements, and lead media product development initiatives.
Partnership & Vendor Management
Negotiate and manage relationships with clients, media platforms, agencies, and technology partners.
Ensure partnerships deliver value, innovation, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
12+ years of progressive digital marketing/media experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of managing multimillion-dollar performance media budgets with measurable ROI.
Deep expertise in paid search, paid social, programmatic display/video, and emerging media channels.
Strong understanding of attribution modeling, media mix modeling, and marketing analytics.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience in automotive media preferred.

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $251,100 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
