Position Summary:
The Warehouse Clerk’s responsibilities include but are not limited to verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, ensuring items are stored correctly, and processing returns. Assign drivers routes needing coverage and follow up to ensure timely dispatch. Make sure all paperwork and systems are up to date and accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes. Build loads in JDE/TMS for the next shift loading and ensure all paperwork required by shipping is in the proper sequence and the pertinent notes made on the Pick Lists. Check the Bill of Lading (BOL) to ensure it matches the Pick List. Be certain that the driver has all paperwork for his/her route (BOL, Route Manifest, Miller trip report) and make sure the driver is aware of any special requests. Ensure trailers are secured with a glad hand lock Confirm and report reefer trailer set point and condition Keep the dispatch board current. Keep all tracking sheets current (Transportation Update). Call drivers and carriers as needed to get all times required. Scan driver’s BOL/Manifest packets to network Schedule all inbound loads delivering, check in drivers and assign dock doors. Post inbound schedule for warehouse receivers. Adjust UOM variances for loads received. Separate and file all packing lists for raw product and packing supplies. Receive pallet, temp tail, and freight lines on the P.O. Enter requisitions needed (MHS, iGPS, Chep, Temp tale, etc.) and coordinate pick-ups for recycling, IFCO racks, broken pallets, and iGPS. Move product accepted by Quality to stock. Maintain stock for non-inventory items. Update R7R, KPI, and Warehouse Scorecard. Communicate all shorts and BOL discrepancies to Demand Planning. Receiving and signing for deliveries. Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items. Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas. Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists. Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria. Updating inventory with received items. Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems. Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc. Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
GED/High School Diploma Preferred. Reading, Writing, Speaking English Preferred. Excellent computer skills (word/excel). Knowledge of GMPs & Safety Guidelines. Good communication and Customer service/telephone skills. Ability to work in a cold environment (limited exposure). Ability to work a flexible schedule, in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be crossed trained & multitask in multiple positions. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers and outside vendors. Desired Qualifications:

Physical Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
