We're seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a Trading program within a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on requirements management skills, expertise in capital markets, and experience working with both business and technology teams to deliver trading and regulatory solutions.
Responsibilities:
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture current-state processes and define future-state needs. Document requirements using user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models (BPMN/UML). Maintain traceability of requirements across business capabilities, processes, and technical deliverables. Support backlog refinement, ensuring requirements are clear, prioritized, and aligned to program objectives. Collaborate with technology teams to validate requirements and ensure accurate implementation. Assist in testing and validation of delivered solutions against documented requirements. Provide subject matter input on trading, clearing, regulatory reporting, and settlement processes. Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally in capital markets. Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management. Proficiency with BPMN/UML, user stories, and agile delivery practices. Experience with clearing and settlement processes, including T+1 settlement. Familiarity with Murex or Calypso platforms. Knowledge of MiFIR/MiFID trade reporting and other regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders. Nice to Have:
Prior experience supporting trading transformation or regulatory compliance programs. Exposure to data and systems integration in capital markets environments. Hands-on testing or QA support experience.
