The Retail Attendant at Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk has a passion for guest service, food, wine, and hospitality. You create memorable experiences through efficient, friendly, and team-based service while educating guests about our products, wines, and Wine Club. Your goal is not only to serve but also to connect; inviting guests to join our growing Wine Club community and ensuring every visit is worth returning for.
Pay Range: $15 - $18 per hour. Pay offered is determined by skills, qualifications and experience.

Arrive with a positive attitude, ready to greet and engage every guest warmly Maintain full knowledge of Piccolo Buco's menu, retail items, wines, Wine of the Month, and Wine Club events Ensure your workstation is fully stocked, organized, and prepared for opening or mid-shift Own what you see: Take Responsibility, jump in, and do what needs to be done .
Keep the retail and tasting room areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times Restock wine and merchandise promptly, ensuring displays are attractive and per standards Step in to assist with hosting, service assisting, or carryout/curbside orders when needed Stay in sync: Communicate often, move with your team, and keep service flowing .
Communicate clearly with teammates, Managers, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Follow all checklists and standard operating procedures for opening, mid-shift, and closing Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately and according to company standards Make it personal: Be genuine, listen well, and tailor each experience .
Build relationships with guests by engaging in friendly, genuine conversation Educate guests on our wines, tasting experiences, and Wine Club benefits, inviting them to join with confidence and enthusiasm Provide thoughtful recommendations for food, wine, and retail items based on guest preferences Add a touch: Go beyond the expected to create memorable moments .
Serve beverages and conduct tastings with attention to detail, presentation, and hospitality standards Recognize opportunities to upsell or recommend products that enhance the guest's visit Go beyond expectations with small gestures that leave a lasting positive impression What You'll Need
Must be at least 21 years of age Experience in a casual dining, upscale dining, or retail sales environment preferred Wine knowledge or experience in a wine-focused environment preferred Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork Comfort and enthusiasm in actively inviting guests to join the Wine Club POS system experience preferred Ability to stay active and focused in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to read, understand and communicate in English Comfort working weekend, holidays and flexible schedules
