Friday: 6:30 AM – 12:00–1:00 PM

Job Description
Join a state-of-the-art precision machining job shop as a CNC Lathe Machinist. You’ll be responsible for full machine setup and operation, producing close-tolerance parts using advanced equipment. This role involves working with Fanuc-controlled Mazak Hyper Quadrex Turning Centers and collaborating closely with the Lathe Manager and Engineering team.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Hyper Quadrex Turning Centers
Troubleshoot programs and adjust controls
Monitor tool wear and perform quality assurance
Maintain documentation and records
Collaborate with engineering and tooling teams
Required Skills
3+ years of CNC lathe setup experience
3+ years of program editing experience (GibbsCam preferred)
Proficiency with Fanuc controllers and G&M codes
Ability to read blueprints and geometric tolerances
Must bring own CNC machining tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mill/turn or 5-axis machines
Familiarity with Mazak Hyper Quadrex or similar equipment
Ability to perform multiple setups daily
Work Environment
Clean, modern facility with over 100 employees on first shift
Machinists work directly with Tool Crib attendants and Engineering
Family-owned business with strong investment in equipment and employee development

Compensation
Hourly Pay: $24–$28/hr to start (plenty of opportunity for raises)

1-page quiz on G&M codes and geometric tolerances
Expect questions about tooling, machinery experience, and job shop vs. production preferences

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
