Overview

The Client Reporting Associate Director reports directly to the Client Reporting Finance Director. This position will partner with the Finance Directors and Client Finance Leads within the Brands of Publicis Communications North America to oversee all financial aspects related to a given client or group of clients.

Responsibilities

Support Agency Finance Director(s) related to all client finance matters

Responsible for providing Agency client time reporting to track actuals

Ability to explain and translate financial reports to business leads

Ensure all financial transactions are made in accordance with corporate policies and procedures

Ensure that all financial reporting is accurate, complete, and timely

Ensure Revenue Recognition calculation during month end close, is being compiled based on contractual terms with the client. While additionally ensuring all revenue is recorded in compliance with revenue recognition guidelines and managing Persuasive Evidence for audit backup.

Ensure compliance with client contract terms and process

Ensure all transactions are properly accounted for

Ensure forecasts are submitted in accordance with calendar and Groupe requirements in coordination with the Finance Director(s)

Managing audit requests for both client and external audit

Recognized Subject Matter Expert - go to resource (internally across the field)

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a changing and fast paced work environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience presenting financial information to non-financial teams

Excellent organizational skills and able to work according to fixed calendar cycles

Comfortable digging through large volumes of reporting for key operational findings

Ability to manage large data with use of Macros and VBA is an advantage

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA a plus

7 to 9 years experience overseeing budgets and relaying financial metrics to leadership

Advanced Excel & PowerPoint presentation.

5+ years financial management experience in Advertising or Marketing Agency (Preferred).

Knowledge in ERP systems, specifically SAP or similar

Compensation Range: $95,950 - $150,995 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
