Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Systems Product Manager to be located at any of our USA Hexcel locations -- Amesbury, MA; Burlington, WA; Casa Grande, AZ; Decatur, AL; Kent, WA; Pottsville, PA; Seguin, TX; or Salt Lake City, UT.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Lead global QMS transformation projects, guiding cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecyclefrom concept to adoption.
- Champion customer-centric solutions, ensuring new features align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.
- Translate business needs into agile action, defining backlog items, epics, and features that steer scrum teams effectively.
- Drive clarity and execution, developing detailed specifications and acceptance criteria for development teams and product owners.
- Maximize impact, prioritizing work that delivers the highest value and aligns with product strategy.
- Advance Global Quality objectives, applying Six Sigma tools to resolve site-level quality concerns and improve processes.
- Leverage data for improvement, using advanced modeling and analytics to support product and process enhancements.
- Lead structured root cause analyses, collaborating across engineering, operations, sales, and customer teams on high-visibility issues.
- Enhance KPI visibility, implementing technologies and processes to monitor and improve key plant performance indicators.
- Support global audit excellence, leading and contributing to internal audits across international sites.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of quality experience, with a strong foundation in manufacturing operations and enterprise systems; bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
- Certified Lead Auditor, with hands-on experience supporting global internal audits.
- ERP & MES savvy, with working knowledge of systems like AX2012 and D365.
- Lab expertise, including familiarity with LabWare and quality control testing processes.
- Data-driven mindset, with proficiency in SQL and advanced data analysis.
- BI tool experience, including PowerBI and Tableau for visualizing performance and trends.
- Project leadership skills, capable of driving software system improvements across functions.
- Cross-functional collaborator, able to coordinate actions across engineering, operations, and customer teams.
- Statistical toolkit, with knowledge of Six Sigma and other quality improvement techniques.
- Global mobility, willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
