Plant Manager II - Portland, OR
Location: Portland, OR
Responsibilities
- Direct daily production operations using RMAS Warehouse Management System and Production Planning tools.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and OSHA safety standards.
- Oversee accurate inventory verification and adjustments.
- Recruit, train, and develop warehouse employees, while enhancing retention and engagement.
- Manage equipment maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor warehouse quality and drive process improvements through SAP reporting.
- Support sales and customer satisfaction with timely, effective solutions, including occasional customer site visits.
- Lead Lean initiatives and recommend equipment investments to strengthen capabilities.
- Oversee building security, compliance, and maintenance.
- Conduct performance reviews and support consistent employee development.
- Represent the facility in regional and corporate leadership meetings as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related).
- Two or more years of warehouse supervision or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or Ph.D.).
- Experience in labor relations, ISO standards, Lean practices, and safety programs.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 + Annual Bonus Incentive
Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).
