American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Infusion Center position specializing in oncology with BLS and ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification required.Job Details•Position is in an outpatient Infusion Center setting,•Patient population includes all cancer diagnoses, both hematology malignant and non-malignant conditions,•Patient ratio is 1:8,•Primary duties include administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy,•Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm,•Candidates may be required to float to units of equal or lesser acuity,•Uses the Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred,Job Requirements•Active RN license required at the time of application,•Current BLS and ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certifications required,•Minimum of 2 years of infusion or outpatient oncology experience required,•Previous travel experience required,•EPIC charting experience preferred,•Candidates residing within specified counties or within 50 miles are not eligible,•Former permanent staff must not have worked at the facility within the past year,Additional Information•Responsible for recognizing and managing side effects of chemotherapy and immunotherapy,•Care for patients with a variety of cancers, including bladder, kidney, brain, breast, colorectal, ENT, leukemia, liver, lung, melanoma, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, ovarian, pancreatic, and prostate cancers,•Training modules completed onsite during orientation, with an average of 4-6 hours for RNs,•No travel pairs or groups will be considered for assignment,•No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation,),•hash,:• ,
