Plant Manager
The Plant Manager will lead operations in a 24/7 plant with continuous manufacturing lines and 80 employees across 2 shifts with 5 Manager Reports and full responsibility of the Plant P&L, short/long term planning, and day to day operations.
Compensation : $160,000 - $185,000 + 20% bonus + Stock Plan + 401k match, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, etc.

Job Description:
• Manufacturing Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a cross functional manufacturing team of 10 managers/supervisors and 80 indirect employees on 2 shifts to ensure the highest quality in the fabrication of heavy industrial equipment.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards. Continuously improve processes, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all manufactured products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Implement quality control measures and inspection protocols to guarantee the reliability and longevity of our equipment.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the engineering, sales, and customer service teams to align manufacturing processes with design specifications, customer needs, and market trends. Foster a culture of cross-functional cooperation and open communication.
• Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, machinery, and materials. Optimize scheduling, production planning, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines and customer demands.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing manufacturing processes, reducing costs, and increasing overall efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative techniques to elevate product quality and operational performance.
• Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness, and conducting regular safety training for all manufacturing staff.
• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure manufacturing performance, track progress, and drive operational enhancements. Regularly report to upper management on manufacturing metrics and achievements.
Qualifications Seeking:
B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain, etc.
MBA is a plus (Not Required).
Six Sigma Black or Green Belt (Preferred)
P/L experience with responsibility of $50 Million or more
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Systems or Lean Certification preferred.
Project management experience.
Value Stream mapping, TPM, 5s/6s, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, etc.
SPC software (Minitab/InfinityQS), OEE tracking (RedZone, Epicor, DELMIAworks).
Oracle, SAP, or other ERP, CMMS, Manufacturing execution systems.
Design, AutoCAD, Solid Works, 3D modeling, Equipment/Machine reliability, PLC programming/troubleshooting.
Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft SSRS, Microsoft Project or other reporting/dashboard/data analytics tools.
QMS, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, TS/IATF 16949, or other similar quality standards/management systems.
