Job Title: Network and Communications Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH

Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: onsite

Duration: 3-6 Months


Mandatory Skills:

Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license.


  1. Four or more recent years of hands-on experience in data network design & management utilizing Cisco router/switches, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs and implementation in a multi-site environment.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the implementation, configuration and administration of firewalls, wireless networks and broadband services.
  3. Demonstrated PC proficiency
  4. Demonstrated strong project management skills.
  5. Possessing working technical knowledge of current telecommunications practices, protocols, and principles.
  6. Demonstrated experience with current and legacy voice, data and video technologies including data/voice/video communications, video conferencing, audio conferencing, wireless networking, cell phones, voice over IP (VoIP), and telephone switch operations is desirable.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
  8. Demonstrated proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Desirable :

  1. Experience with Cisco Unified Wireless including configuration of wireless LAN controllers is desirable
  2. CCNA, CCNE, CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications desirable.
  3. Cisco certification highly desirable.
  4. Experience with radio communications preferred.
  5. Computer certification(s) in related areas desirable.
