We are seeking an experienced Integration Lead with deep expertise in MuleSoft and AWS cloud-native integration services to architect, lead and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on skills in designing scalable APIs, event-driven systems, and hybrid cloud integrations, while leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform,
AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Step Function, API Gateway), and other enterprise integration tools.
Own and evolve the integration architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
Define and enforce best practices around API lifecycle management, data transformation, orchestration, and event-driven architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Data, Security, AppDev) to deliver secure, reusable, and high-performing integration solutions.
Oversee and mentor a team of integration developers across MuleSoft and AWS projects.
Drive the migration of legacy integrations to modern, cloud-native solutions.
Evaluate and recommend integration platforms, tools, and frameworks.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
Establish governance for APIs, message flows, and security protocols.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, including:
5+ years hands-on with MuleSoft (Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, DataWeave)
3+ years’ experience with AWS integration services (Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch)
Proven expertise in designing API-led connectivity, event-driven architectures, and microservices-based integrations.
Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWT, client credentials flow, and API security models.
Proficiency with CI/CD, GitOps practices, and automated deployments of integration code.
Solid experience with JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, GraphQL, and message queuing patterns.
Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or IaC for AWS integration components.
Experience with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, App Insights) for integration monitoring.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft certification(s): MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Developer
AWS certification(s): Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud) and system modernization projects
Exposure to Kafka, Confluent, Kinesis, or other streaming platforms
Experience working in the Airline industry.
