About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) . You’ll be part of a mission-driven team delivering world-class geospatial intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and operational incidents
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with mission partners and external entities for system integration
- Support Tier 2 engineers with advanced issues
- Collect and analyze operational data to prevent recurring issues
- Work closely with technical leads to improve operational stability
- Support deployments and baseline enhancements
- Participate in off-hours support for high-priority incidents
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 6–8 years of experience, or Master’s + 2–4 years
- Current Security+ CE certification (must have before start)
- Experience with Oracle IdAM suite, Apache webgates, and CA API Gateway
- Strong Linux scripting (Shell/Bash)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
- U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle IdAM products (OAM, OIF, OIM, etc.)
- WebLogic, Linux/UNIX, LDAPs, PKI authentication
