Distribution Center Project Team Associate

The Distribution Center Project Team Associate plays a key role in executing projects and activities aimed at improving operations within the Famous Supply Distribution Center. In this role, you will be actively involved in various warehouse improvement initiatives to improve efficiencies, safety, and organization of the facility.

Starting wage: $18/hour + based on experience

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Executing projects and activities to improve distribution center operations
• Relocating product to improve efficiency
• Racking repair and maintenance
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized
• Completing warehouse layout projects
• Product re-slotting and consolidation
• Working with the maintenance team to perform repairs and preventive maintenance
• Other improvement projects as assigned

Required Experience and Skills:

• Experience driving forklifts and working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a warehouse

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Using a warehouse management system (WMS) for inventory movements, picking (order selecting), receiving, packing, and shipping
• Use of a variety of hand and power tools
