Project Manager / Architect Job at TSK in Henderson

TSK Architects is a highly acclaimed architecture, planning and interior design firm located in California, Nevada, and Texas.

Currently, we are seeking a talented Project Manager / Architect with a minimum of 8 years’ experience working in the civic architectural field to join our team. A Project Manager / Architect will work under the direction of a Principal and is responsible for the completion of projects and management of a team for a wide range of project sizes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs
• Develop & provide leadership in all phases of projects, including programming, consulting, strategy, conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration
• Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing communication, interaction and guidance; represent TSK at client meetings and presentations; communicate complex design concepts
• Lead, develop, and mentor architectural design teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Architect with NCARB accredited degree in architecture
• Proven experience running multi-million dollar projects and ability to manage and communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with the AE team and owner
• Minimum of six years of relevant experience in design, technical detailing and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice
• Experience utilizing BIM technologies, specifically Autodesk Revit, in the development of three dimensional building models and documentation for construction
• Experience coordinating projects with team members, government agencies, and consultants
• Passionate about design excellence, construction, and sustainable design

PREFERRED:

• Strong design skills
• Architectural experience in education, civic, judicial and commercial facilities from conceptual design through construction
• Digital graphic skills and conceptual modeling capabilities in Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Suite, etc.
