TSK Architects is a highly acclaimed architecture, planning and interior design firm located in California, Nevada, and Texas.
Currently, we are seeking a talented Project Manager / Architect with a minimum of 8 years’ experience working in the civic architectural field to join our team. A Project Manager / Architect will work under the direction of a Principal and is responsible for the completion of projects and management of a team for a wide range of project sizes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs
- Develop & provide leadership in all phases of projects, including programming, consulting, strategy, conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration
- Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing communication, interaction and guidance; represent TSK at client meetings and presentations; communicate complex design concepts
- Lead, develop, and mentor architectural design teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed Architect with NCARB accredited degree in architecture
- Proven experience running multi-million dollar projects and ability to manage and communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with the AE team and owner
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in design, technical detailing and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice
- Experience utilizing BIM technologies, specifically Autodesk Revit, in the development of three dimensional building models and documentation for construction
- Experience coordinating projects with team members, government agencies, and consultants
- Passionate about design excellence, construction, and sustainable design
PREFERRED:
- Strong design skills
- Architectural experience in education, civic, judicial and commercial facilities from conceptual design through construction
- Digital graphic skills and conceptual modeling capabilities in Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Suite, etc.
