Our client, a forward-thinking design-build firm specializing in commercial, industrial, and recreational projects, is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead and coordinate design efforts across multiple active jobs. Key Responsibilities
Manage architectural design efforts from concept through construction documentation across multiple projects
Collaborate closely with the Director of Architecture and Project Directors to align design with client goals and code requirements
Oversee and mentor design staff to ensure quality output and development of junior team members
Review and ensure architectural documentation complies with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications
Coordinate directly with internal departments (Sales, Estimating, Construction) and external consultants (MEP, structural, etc.)
Monitor project milestones and proactively manage design schedules and deadlines
Contribute to department standards, Revit templates, and quality control protocols
Lead or participate in construction administration activities including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and jobsite visits
Participate in marketing efforts by supporting concept design, visual presentations, and renderings for proposals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in commercial or industrial building sectors
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of building systems, construction materials, and methods
Working knowledge of building codes and standards
Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership skills
