As a K-8school-based Adapted PE Teacher in Santa Maria , CA ,
your days will include

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals.
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet student needs.
• Manage student behavior using positive behavioral supports and interventions.
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences.
• Maintain compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations regarding special education.

Job Details

• Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
• Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
• Caseload: Varied

Successful Candidates Possess

• Valid CA Specialist Instruction Credential authorizing service in Adapted Physical Education (required)
• Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
• The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
