AdminaHealth is seeking a SQL Server DBA to join a high-energy, fast-growing technology team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining SQL Server-based solutions within an AWS environment, contributing to data quality, reporting, and scalable data pipelines. Company overview: AdminaHealth aims to transform the employee benefits industry with cloud-based invoice consolidation, reconciliation, and payment management solutions, supporting brokers, TPAs, captives, associations, and carriers. What Youll Do
Develop & maintain database applications using Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above) on AWS, including Stored Procedures, T-SQL, tables, queries, triggers, and views Query development, tuning, indexing, and performance analysis of existing SQL queries SSRS/SSIS development Data analysis and profiling to identify gaps and quality issues, collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrections, business rules, and workarounds Generate defined and ad-hoc reports Collaborate with team, stakeholders, and SMEs in an AgilePM Scrum framework Address technical problems of substantial scope and complexity Maintain and enhance an internal ETL process to standardize data from diverse systems Provide guidance and support to application developers Monitor and optimize query, database, and system performance; propose and implement solutions Develop code that adheres to internal standards for maintainability Construct and maintain documentation Identify impediments to team efficiency and implement solutions Commit to continual self-improvement and professional development Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields preferred or equivalent experience 5+ years of strong SQL development experience Strong relational database design skills Proficiency using SSMS / SQL Server Proficiency with BI development tools (SSRS, SSIS) Passion for SQL database development and for exciting, early-stage opportunities Positive, solution-oriented mindset; self-motivated and self-managing Effective communication and collaboration skills Exceptional coding and debugging skills Experience working in a cloud environment is a plus Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly Team player, detail-oriented, highly organized Excellent spoken and written English Ability to work independently with attention to detail Flexibility to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities; ability to meet deadlines Right attitude and demonstrated passion Preferred Skills and Experience
