Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Design team to ensure products are optimally designed for ease of manufacture and meet customer specifications. The successful candidate will provide engineering and technical support for the layout, design, and evaluation of production equipment. Responsibilities Generate detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs), engineering datasheets, and control narratives from drawings.Assist the Design team to ensure product design aligns with customer specifications and is easy to manufacture.Provide engineering and technical support for the layout, design, and evaluation of production equipment.Collaborate with other departments, offering engineering support as needed.Ensure the design of processing equipment adheres to current standards and incorporates the latest tested and proven technology.Offer manufacturing-related assistance, such as in Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and dispositions.Work with Quality Assurance to develop inspection test plans and test stations.Collaborate with Materials and Quality teams to support product procurement and resolve engineering issues.Ensure compliance with the facility's quality management system and inventory control practices.Research and implement new equipment designs and product lines as directed by management.Comply with internal engineering standards.Perform various other duties as assigned by the manager. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, application engineering, or design engineering.Degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering.Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.Experience in documentation control, process improvement, and lean manufacturing.Solid understanding of process orientation and product line management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing.Automotive industry experience is advantageous.Experience with control documentation and continuous process improvement.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.PTO, Health, Dental, VisionWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Duncan,SC.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Sep 12, 2025.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
