New Jersey House Counsel is hiring a current law student for its 2025-2026 Law Clerk Program. The law clerk will be responsible for assisting New Jersey House Counsel attorneys with various assignments in a number of practice areas, including personal injury, employment law, and directors and officers cases. Specific duties will include performing legal research; drafting briefs, motions, and memoranda; assisting with pre-trial discovery; and handling other legal projects as needed. The law clerk will also be able to observe real proceedings, including oral arguments, trials, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. The right candidate would be bright, hardworking, detail oriented, ambitious, and eager to learn. Prior legal experience is helpful, but we will train someone who has everything we want.
