Job Summary:

This is a Return Resolution Specialist - Revenue Specialist III position in the General Tax Administration Program, Return Reconciliation Process, Taxpayer Account Management Section. The incumbent corresponds with Department personnel and external customers to obtain information to resolve discrepancies on tax returns, initiates correction to accounting records, corrects discrepancies identified during account analysis, and logically applies tax knowledge. Minimum Requirements:

Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. One year of experience performing tasks associated with researching, reviewing, and correcting returns, and making corrections within account balance with the Florida Department of Revenue. Preferences:

Experience utilizing state and federal laws to research and resolve tax questions and issues on tax returns for one of the three major taxes: sales and use, reemployment, and corporate income tax. Special Notes:

The required work hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for telework and flexible scheduling after you complete the required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency. Salary:

The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,599.98 monthly/$43,199.80 annually. Benefits:
